Quatre adolescents de la Terre sont choisis pour sauver un royaume fantastique appelé Gorm. En chemin, les quatre héros apprendront l'importance du respect de la nature, le don de soi et le pouvoir de l'amitié et de l'unité face à l'adversité. Chacun se verra attribuer un Gormiti personnel, l'un des esprits guerriers légendaires et courageux de Gorm, qui les guidera et les soutiendra émotionnellement. Que ce soit en tant que figure paternelle manquante pour Carter, meilleur ami tant recherché pour Skye, frère aîné sage pour Zane ou ami de confiance pour Glen, chaque Gormiti sera crucial pour guider les héros dans leurs aventures.
